National Contingency Planning Workshop – Anguilla and Sint Maarten / Virtual (19 -21 October 2021)

Dr. Elliott Taylor joined Mr. Lukas Rodriguez (USCG assigned to RAC-REMPEICT) to facilitate a NCP workshop for Anguilla and St. Maarten. The objective of the three-day workshop was to provide training on oil spill preparedness and contingency planning, as well as developing hands-on working knowledge of the use, and advantages of the ARPEL Manual and Readiness Evaluation Tool for Oil Spills (RETOS™) in analyzing and identifying gaps in the national oil spill preparedness and response program. The workshop was designed for senior managers and contingency planners from national authorities responsible for oil spill preparedness, response, and cooperation.
