New Tanker Truck Incident

Polaris personnel are responding to a tanker truck spill in British Columbia.  Personnel on site will provide EU leadership, scientific support and SCAT support.

Large-Scale Oil Fate and Weathering Experiments

Polaris personnel recently helped plan, set up and run large scale oil fate and weathering experiments with Kinder Morgan in Edmonton Canada. In addition to weathering oil in test tanks over several days the effectiveness of dispersants and shoreline treatment methods were also investigated.

New Coral Grounding Project

A new coral grounding project, the M/V CSAV LAJA, on the southern coast of the Dominican Republic near Santo Domingo. Polaris personnel plan to visit the site and assess any potential grounding damage.
